Flutterbye Lashes Precision brow wax & Tint course, is perfect for beginners to or an ideal add on treatment to already qualified lash technicians or beauticians. On this course you will learn how to carry out a a brow wax and tint.
This course is set into 2 sections: At-home Theory then all Practical is based in the salon.
For this once you have signed up you will gain access to our online theory element, this is a self paced course explaining all the theory, this will include all the relevant information and a multiple choice quiz at the end to ensure you have fully understood the content.
This must be completed before coming in for your practical session of the course.
Duration:
This course is a 1 day course, at-home theory followed by Practical in the salon 9am – 11:30am,
You will need to arrange a model for 10:30 ( I will need to patch test her at least 24hours prior to the course).
What’s covered in the course:
o Anatomy & physiology
o Patch testing and consultation
o Contra-indications and contra-actions
o Brow shaping and basic mapping
o Tools of the trade
o Process brow wax and tint treatment
o Manual practice on a live model
The course has the option of coming with or without a tinting kit (Please be aware the kit option does not include wax heater or wax products, I can advise on this).
Case studies:
After the course you will need to carry out case studies, 4 to a satisfactory level, please do not feel disheartened if you are asked to do more than 4 as the first few you will be finding your feet and gaining confidence.
We want you do be the best that you can be, sometimes doing a few more will help you become the best brow technician.
Case studies must be completed within 4 months, if this time lapses you must pay for an additional workshop to recap and will be given an extra 1 month to complete the outstanding case studies.
You will be issued with your qualification certificate once you has passed all your case studies.
Course are fully accredited by Beauty Industry Approval so you can gain insurance after you have gained your qualification
Precision Brow Wax & Tint course
Courses are non refundable, this includes course booking fees and course balances. If you give 7 days notice you maybe able to move your course to another date at the discretion of the trainer. (this can only be changed once).
If we need to cancel the course we will give you 7 days notice and will only be moved in unforeseen circumstances and we will put you on the next available course.
If you do not show for your course you will loose the right to change to another date and all monies will be lost.
